& Cancellation Policy

At KingCave, we aim to provide clear, flexible purchase options. This policy covers pre-orders and aligns with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure.
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

These rights apply regardless of this store policy.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders allow you to secure products that are not yet in stock.

  • Depending on the item, we may collect no payment at checkout or a partial deposit, then store your payment method to charge the balance when the order is ready to ship.
  • Cancellations before dispatch: You may cancel a pre-order any time before dispatch for a full refund of any amount paid.
  • After dispatch or in transit: The order cannot be cancelled, but it may be returned under our Change of Mind terms below.

Change of Mind (Applies to Pre-Orders)

  • The return request is made within 180 days of purchase (or original order date for pre-orders).
  • The item is brand new, unopened, and in its original box and packaging.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility using a trackable service.
  • The original delivery fee and return shipping cost are non-refundable.
  • A 20% restocking fee applies to cover handling, inspection, and administration.

Custom-Branded or Made-to-Order Products

Custom-branded or made-to-order items are not eligible for cancellation or return due to change of mind once production has begun. If a custom product arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, we will provide a repair, replacement, or full refund in accordance with the ACL.

Order Cancellations

  • Before dispatch: You may cancel for a full refund.
  • After dispatch or in transit: The order cannot be cancelled. You may return the item under the Change of Mind terms above once received.

How to Request a Change or Cancellation

  1. Contact us at support@kingcave.com.au with your order number and request.
  2. For returns, we’ll provide the nearest warehouse return address once approved.
  3. Use a trackable shipping service. KingCave is not responsible for lost or untracked parcels.
